This delicious sugar-free dessert is rich and creamy, made with ripe avocados and cocoa powder.


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados (peeled and pitted)
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup sugar substitute (such as erythritol or stevia)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any preferred milk alternative)
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (such as almonds or walnuts)
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa nibs
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened shredded coconut

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the avocados, cocoa powder, sugar substitute, vanilla extract, and almond milk. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  2. Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary by adding more sugar substitute.
  3. Spoon the mousse into serving bowls and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set.
  4. Before serving, top the mousse with chopped nuts, cocoa nibs, and shredded coconut.
