- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (divided)
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon salt (to taste)
- 1 teaspoon black pepper (to taste)
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- 1 lemon wedges (for serving)
Instructions
- Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Stir in red pepper flakes, soy sauce, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque.
- Add the remaining butter and toss to coat the shrimp in the sauce.
- Remove from heat, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve with lemon wedges.
