Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (divided)
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt (to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper (to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • 1 lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter.
  3. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Stir in red pepper flakes, soy sauce, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  5. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque.
  6. Add the remaining butter and toss to coat the shrimp in the sauce.
