- 2 cups Medjool dates, pitted
- 1 cup raw walnuts
- 1 cup raw almonds
- 1/2 cup raw cacao powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- Optional toppings: cacao nibs, shredded coconut, chopped nuts
Instructions
- Soak the Medjool dates in warm water for 10 minutes to soften, then drain.
- Add walnuts and almonds to a food processor and pulse until finely chopped.
- Add dates, cacao powder, vanilla, and salt. Process until mixture is sticky and forms a dough.
- Press mixture firmly into a parchment-lined pan.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
- Slice into squares and serve.
