Description

A delicious spinach dip shaped into a festive tree.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 ounces frozen spinach (thawed and squeezed dry)
  • 6 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tube refrigerated pizza dough
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit, and line a baking sheet with parchment.
  2. On a large cutting board, unroll the pizza dough. Cut a triangle out from the middle of the rectangle.
  3. On another cutting board, take the extra pieces and form a second triangle.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, beat together the spinach, cream cheese, garlic, salt, onion powder, pepper, chili powder, Italian seasoning, parmesan, and mozzarella until well combined.
  5. Spread this mixture evenly over the triangle cut out of pizza dough.
  6. Add the other triangle over top of the dip, and pinch the seams together.
  7. Cut strips into the sides of the triangle, leaving about 1 inch of space with the dough still connected.
  8. Take each strip and twist.
  9. Bake at 400 for 18-20 minutes, until golden brown.
  10. After removing from the oven, melt the butter, and add the garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
  11. Brush this mixture over the spinach dip tree.
  12. Enjoy!
