A delicious spinach dip shaped into a festive tree.
Ingredients
Scale
- 12 ounces frozen spinach (thawed and squeezed dry)
- 6 ounces cream cheese (softened)
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. onion powder
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1/4 tsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 tube refrigerated pizza dough
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit, and line a baking sheet with parchment.
- On a large cutting board, unroll the pizza dough. Cut a triangle out from the middle of the rectangle.
- On another cutting board, take the extra pieces and form a second triangle.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat together the spinach, cream cheese, garlic, salt, onion powder, pepper, chili powder, Italian seasoning, parmesan, and mozzarella until well combined.
- Spread this mixture evenly over the triangle cut out of pizza dough.
- Add the other triangle over top of the dip, and pinch the seams together.
- Cut strips into the sides of the triangle, leaving about 1 inch of space with the dough still connected.
- Take each strip and twist.
- Bake at 400 for 18-20 minutes, until golden brown.
- After removing from the oven, melt the butter, and add the garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
- Brush this mixture over the spinach dip tree.
