Description

These adorable pumpkin-shaped slider burgers are perfect for a fun meal or party. The delicious patty, paired with your choice of toppings, makes for a delightful bite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef or turkey
  • 8 pumpkin-shaped slider buns
  • 4 cheese slices (your choice), cut in half
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • As desired lettuce leaves
  • As desired tomato slices
  • 8 pretzel sticks (for the pumpkin stem)
  • As desired mustard or mayonnaise

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Patties: In a bowl, combine ground beef, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well to combine all ingredients evenly. Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and shape into small patties.
  2. Cook the Patties: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until they reach the desired doneness. During the last minute of cooking, place half a slice of cheese on each patty to melt.
  3. Assemble the Sliders: Slice the pumpkin-shaped buns in half. Spread mustard or mayonnaise on the bottom bun. Place lettuce and a tomato slice, followed by the cooked patty with melted cheese. Cover with the top bun.
  4. Create the Pumpkin Look: Insert a pretzel stick into the center of each slider to mimic a pumpkin stem.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, consider adding a splash of Worcestershire sauce to the meat mixture.
  • If pumpkin-shaped buns are unavailable, use regular slider buns and make a series of shallow cuts along the edges to create a pumpkin-like appearance.
  • To add more texture, consider toasting the buns lightly before assembling the sliders.
