- 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1 egg (optional, for egg wash)

Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare the Dough: Unroll the crescent roll dough on a flat surface. Separate the dough into triangles following the perforations.
- Cut the Dough: Cut each triangle into smaller strips. Each strip should be large enough to wrap around a cocktail sausage once.
- Wrap the Sausages: Place each cocktail sausage at the wide end of a dough strip and roll it up towards the narrow end. Ensure the dough overlaps slightly to secure the sausage.
- Prepare Egg Wash (Optional): In a small bowl, whisk together the egg and water to make an egg wash.
- Apply Egg Wash (Optional): Brush the top of each wrapped sausage lightly with the egg wash for a golden brown finish.
- Bake: Place the wrapped sausages on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crescent dough is golden brown.
- Cool and Garnish: Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Arrange on a serving platter with rosemary sprigs for garnish.
