Description
This delicious garlic bread recipe is quick and easy, made in a pressure cooker.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 (14 oz) loaf French bread or Italian bread (works best for that soft crust you want)
- 1/4 cup salted butter (softened so it spreads nice and smooth)
- 2 Tbsp olive oil (adds some good richness without overpowering)
- 2 tsp minced garlic (or 1 tsp granulated garlic depending on how garlicky you feel)
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper (to taste just to lift all the flavors up)
- 1 1/4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (for that gooey stretch everyone loves)
- 1/3 cup finely shredded parmesan cheese (for a sharp punch of flavor)
- 1 Tbsp finely chopped fresh parsley (to sprinkle on top and add some freshness)
- Optional touch small pinch of paprika (if you wanna add a little smoky twist)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Prep the bread the usual way before it hits the cooker.
- Slice your loaf in half lengthwise and place it cut side up on a baking sheet that fits inside your pressure cooker pot.
- In a small bowl, mix softened butter, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.
- Spread garlic butter mix evenly over cut sides of bread.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and parmesan evenly across the bread.
- Pop the baking sheet into your pressure cooker pot. Seal the lid and set to high pressure for about 5 to 7 minutes tops.
Notes
- This recipe is best served warm for maximum flavor and gooey texture.
