- 1 cup red and green chocolate candies (like M&M’s)
- 1 cup mini pretzels
- 1 cup caramel bits
Instructions
- Melt Chocolate and Peanut Butter:
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter.
- Microwave on high for 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the mixture is smooth.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Coat the Cereal:
- Place the Rice Chex cereal in a large bowl.
- Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the cereal.
- Gently mix until the cereal is evenly coated.
- Add Powdered Sugar:
- Transfer the chocolate-coated cereal into a large resealable plastic bag.
- Add the powdered sugar.
- Seal the bag and shake until the cereal is well coated with sugar.
- Mix Together:
- In a large bowl, combine the powdered cereal, red and green chocolate candies, mini pretzels, and caramel bits.
- Gently toss to mix.
Notes
- For an extra crunch, add 1/2 cup of roasted nuts such as almonds or peanuts.
- You can store the mix in an airtight container for up to a week.
