- 1 batch pizza dough
- 1 cup pizza sauce (marinara, pesto, Alfredo, or white sauce)
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup cheddar cheese (optional)
- 1 cup vegan cheese (optional)
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1/2 cup olives, sliced
- 1 cup spinach, strips
- 1 cup cooked chicken or beef (optional)
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced (optional)
- 1 cup artichokes, diced (optional)
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, for garnish
- 1/4 cup fresh oregano, for garnish
- 2 tbsp olive oil, for drizzling
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out your pizza dough on a lightly floured surface and cut out tree shapes using a tree-shaped cookie cutter.
- Place the tree-shaped dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and spread a layer of pizza sauce over each tree, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Generously sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the sauce and mix in any other cheeses if using.
- Use your toppings to create ornaments on the trees, such as diced bell peppers for baubles and strips of spinach for garland.
- Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the edges are golden brown.
- Once out of the oven, sprinkle fresh herbs over the top and drizzle a bit of olive oil for extra richness.
- Let the mini pizzas cool for a minute before serving.
