Description
Delicious and easy Crockpot French Dip Sandwiches made with tender beef and melted provolone cheese.
Ingredients

- 2 pounds beef roast (chuck or brisket)
- 1 onion, sliced
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 packet au jus or French onion soup mix
- 4 hoagie rolls
- 4 slices provolone cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place the beef roast in the crockpot and season with salt and pepper.
- Add the sliced onion on top of the beef.
- In a separate bowl, mix the beef broth with the au jus or soup mix, then pour it over the roast and onions.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the beef is tender.
- Shred the beef inside the crockpot using two forks or tongs.
- Fill each hoagie roll with the shredded beef and top with a slice of provolone cheese.
- Allow the cheese to melt slightly before serving with the au jus for dipping.
Notes
- This recipe is perfect for a crowd and can easily be doubled.
- Serve with extra au jus for dipping on the side.
