- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 3 cloves garlic, minced (plus garlic powder if used)
- 8 oz spaghetti
- 8 oz Velveeta cheese, cubed
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat, then cook the chicken until it turns golden brown and is cooked through, about 6-8 minutes per side depending on thickness. Remove from heat and slice the chicken into strips.
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually 8-10 minutes. Drain the spaghetti, reserving some pasta water if desired.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add Velveeta cubes and stir continuously until melted and smooth. Whisk in shredded mozzarella cheese gradually stirring until the sauce is creamy and fully combined.
- Add the drained spaghetti into the cheese sauce and toss thoroughly so all noodles are evenly coated with the creamy cheese mixture. If the sauce is too thick, add a small amount of reserved pasta water to loosen it.
- Serve the cheesy spaghetti on plates, then top with the sliced cooked chicken. Garnish with chopped parsley for a fresh finish and enhanced presentation.

- For additional flavor, consider adding more garlic powder to the seasoning mixture.
