Description

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Yukon Gold potatoes
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream (or milk)
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Peel and chop the potatoes into evenly sized chunks.
  2. Boil the potato chunks in salted water until fork-tender, about 15-20 minutes.
  3. In the last five minutes of cooking, add peeled garlic cloves.
  4. Drain the potatoes and garlic, then return them to the pot or mixing bowl.
  5. Mash until smooth, then mix in tahini, butter, heavy cream, salt, and pepper until creamy.
  6. Serve warm, drizzled with extra tahini and garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
