Roasted cauliflower seasoned with garlic powder, smoked paprika, and nutritional yeast for a flavorful side dish.

- 1 head cauliflower, cut into florets (about 4 cups or 400g)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil (30ml)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder (5g)
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika (5g)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (2g)
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper (1g)
- 1/4 cup nutritional yeast (30g)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (15ml)
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (15g)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Wash, dry, and cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets of similar size.
- In a large mixing bowl, toss the florets with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
- Spread the florets in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Do not overcrowd.
- Roast for 25-30 minutes, stirring halfway through, until tender and the edges are golden-brown.
- Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle with nutritional yeast and drizzle with lemon juice. Toss to coat while hot.
- Scatter fresh parsley over the top and serve warm.
Notes
- For best results, make sure to cut the cauliflower into evenly sized pieces for even cooking.
- You can adjust the seasoning to taste, adding more spices if desired.
